To Connect Laptop

  1. At the podium, connect the VGA cable or HDMI cable to your laptop. Please note, if you are using a Mac laptop, you may need to use your VGA/HDMI adaptor. When using a VGA adapter, if you need audio from your laptop, please connect the audio cable to the headphone jack on your laptop.
  1. Turn on your laptop. 

To Project Image

  1. As you face the front of the room, near the window on the right there's a Crestron Touch Panel. To activate, touch the panel screen.  
  2. To project an image on the screen, under Projector select, Laptop. This will turn on the projector, lower screen, and project image from the laptop onto the screen.  
  3. To project the image on front monitors, under Front Display select Laptop.  This will project an image from the laptop to the two front display monitors.

Adjust Microphone Volume

  1. To adjust the microphone volume, on the control panel, select the corresponding arrow under Speech Volume

Adjust PC Volume

  1. To adjust the PC volume, select the corresponding arrow under Program Volume on the left side of the control panel.

Shut Down

  1. To exit, select Shutdown at the bottom right corner of the control panel and confirm Yes. This will retract the screen and turn off the projector. 

To Adjust Shades

  1. As you face the front of the room, near the window on the left, there's a white panel controlling the shades.

  

  1. The buttons on the left control the solar shades and the button on the right controls the blackout shades. Select the appropriate button to adjust the height.  

Troubleshooting Laptop Display                                

If you do not get a picture on both your laptop and the projector screen

  • Windows - hold down the following laptop keys simultaneously.  The "Windows" key located on the bottom left of the keyboard and the letter "P" key, and make sure the setting is set to "Duplicate"
  • Mac OS X - navigate to System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement and then check off Mirror Displays.
