Cushing Martin 027 Instructions

This article contains the following information on using the Extron Control Panel in Cushing Martin, room 027:

• Turn the Video Projector On
• Display from the Desktop iMac Computer
• Control the Room Volume
• Turn the Video Projector Off

Turn the Video Projector On

1. On the Extron control panel on the podium, press the ON button.
   
    
2. The video projector will power on and display the image from the iMac on the podium.

Display from the Desktop iMac Computer

1. Press the MAC button to display the image from the iMac on the instructor podium.
   

Control the Room Volume

1. Volume is controlled using the Volume control knob.
   
2. Turn the control knob to the left to lower the volume and the number of illuminated dots.
    
3. Turn the control knob to the right to raise the volume and the number of illuminated dots.
    
4. Please note: The computer's sound and application sound (such as YouTube in a web browser) must also be on and raised.

Turn the Video Projector Off

1. Press and release the OFF button on the Extron control panel, located on the podium.
   

2. The OFF button light will flash while the projector cools down. 

   • PLEASE NOTE: You cannot restart the system until the projector cools down (and the OFF light stops flashing). This will take approximately 2 minutes.
