Office 2016 gives you multiple options for saving files. Choose the one the best fits your need.

Save to your departmental fileshare
Windows
- Click on the File tab.
- Select Save As.
- Select This PC from the list and click the Browse button.
- In the Explorer Window that appears, navigate to your mapped departmental fileshare and select the folder where you want to save your file.
- Name your file and click the Save button.
Mac
- Select File > Save As
- Select the On My Mac button.
- Navigate to your mapped departmental fileshare and select the folder where you want to save your file.
- Name your file and click the Save button.

Save a file to your computer
Windows
- Click on the File tab.
- Select Save As.
- Select This PC from the list and then click on the Browse button.
- In the Explorer Window that appears, navigate to the location on your computer where you want to save your file.
- Name your file and click the Save button.
Mac
- Select File > Save As
- Select the On My Mac button.
- Navigate to the location on your computer where you want to save your file.
- Name your file and click the Save button.

Save to OneDrive
Windows
- Click on the File tab.
- Select Save As.
- Select OneDrive - Stonehill College from the list and click on the Browse button.
- In the Explorer Window that appears, make sure that OneDrive - Stonehill College is selected from the column on the left and then navigate to the location on your OneDrive for Business where you want to save your file.

- Name your file and click the Save button.
Mac
- Select File > Save As
- Choose OneDrive - Stonehill College from the first column.
- Navigate to the location on your OneDrive for Business where you want to save your file.
- Name your file and click the Save button.
