Reserving the One Button Studio

  1. You must first reserve the One Button Studio by selecting a date and time using the following resource-  https://libcal.stonehill.edu/reserve/msb

Set up the Recording

  1. Make sure you have a USB Flash Drive to save your video recording. A USB flash drive with a minimum of 4 gigabytes of space and high read/write speed is recommended for quality recording.
  2. Press the Display On button to activate the Camera, Lights, Shades, and Monitors.
  3. Select the Room PC if you are presenting with the TV monitor. If using your Laptop connect it via the HDMI cable and then select Laptop.
  4. Choose between Camera Preset 1 and Camera Preset 2 for your preferred camera positioning.
    • Note: You can make adjustments to the zoom and positioning of the camera with the remote if needed.
  5. Plug your USB flash drive into the record panel.
    • Note: the flash drive needs to be formatted either NTFS or Fat32, exFat is not currently supported.

Start and Stop the Recording

  1. Press the Record button to start the recording. The record button will blink while starting up and will turn a solid red when ready to record.
  2. When finished press the Stop button. Wait 10 seconds before removing the USB stick.
  3. The recording will appear as a .mp4 file in a folder on your USB stick.
  4. When done press the Display Off button and make sure the door is locked when you leave.

Note: we would recommend doing a short test recording with your flash drive first to make sure all is working as expected.
