Add a URL to the Course Menu

Canvas now lets you add custom links to the course navigation menu.

Add a Custom Link

1. Click the Settings link at the bottom of your Course Navigation menu. 
   
    
2. Click the Navigation tab.
   
3. Click Add a link.
   
    
4. Fill in a name for the link in the Text field, and paste the URL into the Link field, then click Add.

Edit a Custom Link

Currently you can't edit a link once you create it: you will just need to delete the current link and re-add the corrected URL.

1. Click the Settings link at the bottom of your Course Navigation menu. 
   
    
2. Click the Navigation tab.
   
    
3. Locate your link and click the three dots, then click  Delete
   
    
4. Follow the instruction above to add an updated link.
