Using your Hill ID from your smartphone's wallet

iOS

To open your Wallet and access your saved Hill ID, double-click your iPhone's side button. Alternatively, you can pull down on your home screen and search for "Wallet".

Android

Steps vary by device and Android version, so here are the most common methods:

  • Open it like any app: Swipe up from the bottom of your home screen to open the app drawer, then tap Wallet, or type "Wallet" in the search bar at the top.
  • Quick Settings shortcut (most Android phones, including Pixel): Swipe down twice from the top of the screen and tap the Wallet tile. If it isn't there, tap the pencil/edit icon and drag it in.
  • Lock screen shortcut (Pixel and some others): You can add a Wallet shortcut to the lock screen in Settings → Display → Lock screen → Shortcuts.
  • Samsung phones: Swipe up from the bottom of the lock screen or home screen to bring up Samsung Wallet. You can turn this on or adjust it in the Samsung Wallet app's settings under Quick access.
  • Double-press the power button (some phones): A few models, including some Pixels, can open Wallet with a double-press of the power button. On many phones that gesture opens the camera instead, so check Settings → System → Gestures (or search "double press power" in Settings).
