The Extron Wall Panel in Duffy 214 operates the media equipment in the room, including the video projector, input for the projector, and volume controls.
Please note: The projector must be on to hear audio.

Turn the Projector On
- At the control panel, under Display, press the ON button on the Extron wall panel. The light on the projector will turn on.
- Please wait 45 seconds while the projector is warming up. Do not press any buttons on the panel for 45 seconds.

Classroom Equipment & Laptop Connections
Classroom Equipment
Duffy 214 contains a classroom laptop for instructor use and connections to use your own for projecting and using the HyFlex Equipment.
On the conference table, you will find the following:
- A Windows laptop [1] for instructor use, connected via HDMI cable [2] for projecting and to the USB cable [3] for HyFlex equipment use.
- A remote [4] to control the HyFlex camera in the classroom.
- VGA and Audio cables [5] are used to connect a laptop with a VGA connection.
- An Ethernet cable [6] for devices that need a hard-wired Internet connection
- An AVer Speakerphone/Microphone [7] for use in online conferencing.
- A power cable [8] for the laptop.

Laptop Connections
The HDMI Cable for Projecting [4] and USB cable [1] for HyFlex equipment use should be attached to the laptop in the classroom.
- If you would like to use your laptop, connect the HDMI [4] and USB [1] cables to your laptop. Please reconnect to the classroom laptop after use.

VGA and Audio cables [3] are used to connect a laptop with a VGA connection.
An Ethernet cable [2] for devices that need a hard-wired Internet connection

Display the Classroom Laptop / HDMI Connected Laptop
- After turning the projector on, press the HDMI button on the Extron Wall panel to display the classroom laptop or an HDMI-connected laptop.

- After turning the projector on, press the VGA button on the Extron Wall panel to display the classroom laptop or a VGA-connected laptop.

Troubleshooting Laptop Display
If you do not get a picture on both your laptop and the projector screen.
Windows
Hold down the following laptop keys simultaneously: the Windows key (located at the bottom left of the keyboard) and the letter P key to ensure the setting is set to Duplicate.
Mac OS X
Navigate to System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement, then check off Mirror Displays.

Volume Control
- At the Extron Wall Panel, under Volume, use the volume control buttons to lower the room volume [1] and/or raise the room volume [2].

Shut Down
- At the Extron Wall Panel, under Display, press the OFF button.

- The display OFF light will flash while the projector cools down.
- NOTE: You cannot restart the system until the projector cools down (and the OFF light stops flashing). This will take approximately 2 minutes.
