Installing the FortiClient on Windows

Installing FortiClient

1.  From one of the following approved browsers: Chrome, Edge, or Firefox, open a browser and navigate to vpn.stonehill.edu.

2. You will be prompted to log in with your Stonehill email address and password and be required to complete a multi-factor login.

3. Select Windows from the drop down menu.

4. The installer will download and the file will need to be opened from your downloads folder.

5. Run the setup wizard. Be sure to check off the box next to Yes, I have read and accept and then click Next

6. Select Install

7. Select Finish. The client has now been installed, and you are ready to configure the client for connection.

Connection Configuration

1. From the desktop, double click on the icon for FortiClient VPN. Check the box next to the acknowledgement agreement for the software and click I accept

2. Click Configure VPN.

3. From here you will configure the VPN connection. On the field labeled Connection Name enter Stonehill-VPN. On the field labeled Remote Gateway enter vpn.stonehill.edu. Check the box next to Customize port and enter 443. Check the box next to Enable Single Sign ON (SSO) for VPN Tunnel, then select Save. The client is now configured for Stonehill's VPN.
