ChemDraw Installs

Note: before installing the latest version of ChemDraw please remove any previous version, including older Perkins-Elmer labeled installations.

If you are enrolled in or teaching a course that uses the ChemDraw application, you will receive two emails, notifying you of your membership to Revvity Signals, the company that owns ChemDraw,

Please note that you will only need the email that arrives from Revvity Signals Membership to create your Signals account and install the ChemDraw software.

Create and Sign In to Your Revvity Signals Account

  1. In the email from Revvity Signals Membership, click on the here link to register for an account. If you don't have access to the email, the URL is: https://connect.revvitysignals.com/login/recovery/

  2. You will be brought to their Forgot Password page. This is the correct place to be, even if you are just signing in for the first time.

  3. Enter your full Stonehill email address into the Email Address field [1], then click the Submit button [2]. 
  4. You'll be sent an email with a link to reset your password. Click on the link and you will be brought to the Change Your Password page. 
  5. On the Change Your Password page, click the "Click here to login" link. 
  6. On the Account Information page, enter your full Stonehill email address in the Email Address field [1], create a password in the Password field [2] {and note that this password will ONLY be for your Revvity Signals account), set the Industry field to Academic [3], type "Stonehill College" into the field that appears [4]. and then click the login button [5].

  7. You will be brought to a page that we recommend closing out of.
  8. Go back to the email from Revvity Signals Membership, and click on the second link in the message under step #2. If you don't have acccess to the email, the URL is: https://stonehill-chemistry.signalsresearch2.revvitycloud.com

  9. Your web browser will display the Revvity Signals Home page of available installers. 
  10. Follow the steps to Download and Install ChemDraw Software.

Download and Install ChemDraw Software

  1. After creating and signing into your Revvity Signals account, you will be brought to the Revvity Signals Home page of available installers. 
  2. Click on the ChemDraw Desktop icon to download the software installer.

  3. In the Launch ChemDraw Desktop window that displays, click on the "Click here to download the installer" link.

  4. After the software downloads, launch the ChemDraw_23.1.2.exe file from the downloads icon on your browser or your computer's Downloads folder.
  5. Default through all of the installation prompts to install the software. 
  6. A ChemDraw icon will display on your desktop after you Finish the installation.

Launch and License the ChemDraw software

  1. Double-click on the ChemDraw icon that installed to your desktop. 
  2. At the Licensing window, leave Signals account option selected and click the Continue button. 
  3. Go back to the email from Revvity Signals Membership, and copy the second link in the message under step #2.

  4. On the Sign In to Signals window, paste the link you just copied from the email into the field and click the Sign In button.

  5. ​​​​​On the ChemDraw Desktop would like to window, click the ALLOW button.

  6. On the webpage that opens, click into the Alway allow... checkbox [1] to place a checkmark there, and then click the Open ChemDraw button [2].

  7. The ChemDraw application will launch.
