Attention: These instructions are for
Stonehill-owned computers only. If you are printing from a personal device, you must use
Mobility Print instead.
In order to access self-service, your Apple device must be registered with JAMF. If not registered you will be unable to access the print service.
Contact the Service Desk on how to do so.
1. First, ensure that you are either connected wireless to Hillspot or wired via an Ethernet cable. (The “Guest” network will not allow you to access nor add any printers from Self Service) You will receive the following error. “Cannot connect to the JAMF Pro Server. Try connecting again.”
2. Once you have verified that you are connected to “Hillspot” press Command + Space keys to Open the Spotlight menu. Then search for Self Service.
3. Along the table of contents navigate to “Printers” and search for the printer(s) name you wish to add
Click the install button, after a moment the printer should be added
You can verify a successful addition by opening System Preferences > Printers and Scanners.
