Discover the various ways to join a Zoom meeting.
Before joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device, you can download the Zoom app from their Download Center. Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click a join link.
Join a Zoom Meeting from an Email or Calendar Invite
If you received an email or calendar invitation with a Zoom Meeting link, follow the steps below to join.
- Click on the Join Zoom Meeting link in your email or calendar invitation.
- Depending on your default web browser, you may be prompted to open the Zoom client.
- The Zoom client will launch and you will be prompted for your audio/video settings and to join the meeting.
Join a Zoom Meeting from the Zoom Client
With the Zoom client installed, you can and join Zoom meetings with its unique meeting ID.
- Open the Zoom desktop client and sign in.
- Click on the Join button.
- Enter the meeting ID number and confirm your display name.
- Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video and click the Join button.
Join a Zoom Meeting from the Web
- Sign in to Zoom at stonehill.zoom.us using your Stonehill username and password.
- Select the Join button.
- Enter the meeting ID or personal link name into the field, and click on the Join button.
Join a Zoom Meeting from your Phone
If you don't have access to a computer or web-enabled device, you can join a Zoom meeting by telephone.
- On your phone, dial the teleconferencing number provided in your invite.
- Enter the meeting ID number when prompted using your dial-pad.
