Join a Zoom Meeting

Discover the various ways to join a Zoom meeting.

Before joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device, you can download the Zoom app from their Download Center. Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click a join link.

Join a Zoom Meeting from an Email or Calendar Invite

If you received an email or calendar invitation with a Zoom Meeting link, follow the steps below to join.

  1. Click on the Join Zoom Meeting link in your email or calendar invitation.

  2. Depending on your default web browser, you may be prompted to open the Zoom client.
  3. The Zoom client will launch and you will be prompted for your audio/video settings and to join the meeting.

Join a Zoom Meeting from the Zoom Client

With the Zoom client installed, you can and join Zoom meetings with its unique meeting ID. 

  1. Open the Zoom desktop client and sign in.
  2. Click on the Join button.

  3. Enter the meeting ID number and confirm your display name.

  4. Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video and click the Join button.

Join a Zoom Meeting from the Web

  1. Sign in to Zoom at stonehill.zoom.us using your Stonehill username and password.

  1. Select the Join button.
  2. Enter the meeting ID or personal link name into the field, and click on the Join button.

Join a Zoom Meeting from your Phone

If you don't have access to a computer or web-enabled device, you can join a Zoom meeting by telephone.

  1. On your phone, dial the teleconferencing number provided in your invite.
  2. Enter the meeting ID number when prompted using your dial-pad.
