Microsoft Defender on macOS
Microsoft Defender on macOS
Click the shield Icon and then “Open Microsoft Defender”
To run a quick scan click the
Quick Scan
button.
To run a full scan click the
Scan Options
button.
Select the
Full Scan
option and click
Scan Now.
You can scan individual folders by right clicking folders and selecting
Scan with Microsoft Defender
.
On the new window click the
Scan Now
button.
If a threat is detected you will be warned and prompted with actions.
Select
Quarantine
from the dropdown menu on all threats detected and click
Start Actions
button.
Contact the Service Desk with any questions.
