Learning the Basics of Skype for Business

What is Skype for Business, and what can it do?

Skype for Business lets you connect with co-workers or business partners in your company or around the world.

  • Start conversations with IM, voice, or video calls, all in one place on any device.
  • Schedule and participate in video conferences on any device (perfect for remote interviews!)
  • See when your contacts are available online, in a meeting, or presenting.
  • Present your screen during meetings, and even give control to others.
  • Use Skype for Business in other Office programs to chat, call, or join a meeting with a click.

Where can I get it?

Skype for Business is already installed on all Stonehill computers as part of the Office 365 suite, but with your Stonehill account, you can also install it on your own personal devices.

Once launched, you can begin adding contacts and start chatting, video conferencing, and screen sharing with just a click.
