Overview

Reports from college wide systems are provided using Cognos and coordinated through application managers in the major business areas of the college.

Features

• The college wide standard reporting tool is Cognos which is used to produce reports using data from the Ellucian Banner systems.
• Cognos reports may be run against the production Banner database or the Operational Data Store (ODS) which is a repository for data from Banner for reporting.
• Cognos reports can be delivered in a variety of formats including comma delimited files, Excel spreadsheets, or PDF files.
• The major business areas have application managers who provide reports for the applications within their area.

Getting Started

• Faculty or staff who need reports from Banner should contact the appropriate application manager with their request.
• Applications managers who need assistance with reports submit service request tickets for Cognos Reports.
