Upgrades to college wide systems for point releases may be requested by application managers.

Staff who are application managers

Features

  • Application managers monitor software releases and request they be applied.
  • Multiple databases per application module are provided to ensure testing and data integrity before applying upgrades to production.
  • The IT DBA evaluates the request to ensure module dependencies are maintained.
  • IT leaders in the Enterprise Application Services group evaluate the IT resources required, ensure it should not be considered a project (<70 hrs) and establish timelines for the work.

Getting Started

  • Applications managers submit service request tickets for Banner Module Upgrades.
