Overview

Assistance to support or provide integration for departmental systems may be requested by application managers.  Departmental System Support applies to non-Banner Enterprise applications.

Staff who are application managers

Features

  • Departmental systems are typically developed and maintained by third party vendors.
  • Application managers within the department provide direct support for the applications within their area.
  • Application managers may require assistance from IT staff with system configurations or integrations.
  • IT leaders in the Enterprise Application Services group may be consulted to assess the feasibility of the request.
  • IT leaders in the Enterprise Application Services group evaluate the IT resources required, ensure it should not be considered a project (<70 hrs) and establish timelines for the work.

  • Applications managers submit a service request ticket for a Departmental System Support.
