Overview

Changes to Banner data that must be accomplished through SQL scripting may be requested by application managers.

Available To

Staff who are application managers

Features

• Application managers work within their areas to determine the needs for data changes.
• Data changes may also be needed to merge records when multiple general person records are created and used in error.
• An IT Systems Analysts may be consulted to assess the feasibility of using a SQL script.
• IT leaders in the Enterprise Application Services group evaluate the IT resources required and establish timelines for the work.
• IT Systems Analysts develop the scripts in test databases and work with application managers to test the changes before applying them in production.

• Applications managers submit service request tickets for Data Changes.
