Changing Your Password on a Windows College Computer on Campus

Changing your Stonehill College password is easy to do when you're on campus and using a Lab or Classroom Windows computer. Please make sure that the College owned computer you are on is plugged into an active Ethernet port before following the steps below. If you are using MacOS, the easiest way to change your password will be to utilize the password change service.

If you know your password but want to change it:

  1. Login to the Stonehill College network with your Stonehill username and password.
  2. Press CTRL/ALT and Delete (while holding CTRL and ALT keys down and press the Delete key).
  3. Click on Change a Password.
  4. Type your current password in the Old Password field.
  5. Type a new password into the New password field, and type it again into the Confirm password field.
  6. Click the OK button.

If you don't know your password, or know your password but want to unlock your account:

On any lab or classroom computer take the following steps.

  1. At the login screen, click Reset password.


     
  2. This will launch a secure browser over the login page to validate your security method and assist you with your Microsoft 365 password change. Type your Stonehill College email address and the characters in the CAPTCHA. You will receive the following options:


     
  3. Choose the option that best suits your needs and when prompted, type the Authenticator app code on your phone. Then you will be able to unlock or reset your password.
