Changing Your Password

The password change service enables you to both unlock your account and change your Stonehill password anytime and anywhere, without needing to contact the IT Service Desk.

Choose a situation to be brought directly to the solution:

If you do know your password, but want to change/update it:

  1. Log into myHill, head to the Applications & Resources section and click the button for "Password Change".

 Alternatively, you can also:

  1. Log into myHill.
  2. Click the app-picker (the "waffle") in the top-left, then click the search box.
  3. You'll see three options:

You can also use the ellipses (three dots) to add these icons to your app-picker for future use.

From the password screen, just type desired new password, and click Submit. Don't forget to review our tips for selecting a secure password.

Note: If after attempting these steps you are unable to get into your account for any reason, you'll need to present a photo ID to the Service Desk either in-person or via video call to get back into your account.

To get back into your account:

  1. In a modern browser (such as Chrome/Firefox/Edge/Safari etc.), head to myhill.stonehill.edu.
  2. Click the "Can't access your account?" link and select Work or school account from the next window.
  3. Next, type in your full Stonehill College email address, and the CAPTCHA security code that you see on your screen and click Next, and choose either of the options that best suits your needs.

  4. After choosing either of the options, you will now be able to use your Microsoft Authenticator app to unlock your account and/or reset your password. Click Send Notification, and approve the number that you see on your phone in the Authenticator app.

  5. Now your account will be either unlocked or you will be able to reset your password.
