The telephone system enables internal and external voice communication as well as other related services to meet the needs of College departments

Features

• Four digit dialing is enabled for calls within the campus
• Local and long distance calls may be placed from faculty and staff telephones
• International dialing may be enabled to support an academic or business need
• A variety of desk phone models are provided based on an individuals job requirements
• Conference calling is available from most telephones on Campus
• Call coverage options allow departments to customize how incoming calls can be handled
• Auto attendants may be configured for a department upon request to provide a series of choices to a caller

Getting Started

• Faculty and staff are assigned a telephone extension and a desk phone when employment begins at Stonehill
• Affiliates may receive a telephone extension based on a request from their department sponsor
• Students may request a telephone extension for their residence hall room based on a personal need
