Server Add or Change

Overview

New servers or configuration changes to an existing server may be requested.

Available To

IT Staff, Staff who are application managers, and Faculty

Features

  • New servers or changes to existing servers that are required within a project or other service request will be coordinated by IT Staff.
  • The instructional need of a department or faculty member may be met by hosting an application on a new server.
  • Configuration changes to existing servers that are needed to support application requirements may be requested by IT staff or application managers.
  • The Director of Enterprise Infrastructure Services will evaluate the IT resources required, ensure it should not be considered a project  and establish the feasibility of the request.

Getting Started

  • Staff who are application managers and Faculty with an instructional need may submit service request tickets for Server Add or Change.
