In Teams, there are various options for creating a Conference Call. They include:
Scheduling a Meeting in Teams
If you would like to configure a Conference Call in Teams, begin by following our instructions on Create a Meeting in Teams, or Create a Meeting in Outlook.

These meetings will be displayed in other users' Teams and Outlook calendars, and they will receive an email with a joinable link to the Teams meeting, as well as a Meeting ID and Passcode to manually join the meeting. Users can also use to the phone number and Phone conference ID to Dial in by phone for a conference call, if they are not on or unable to access the Teams application.
Please note: the Dial in by phone feature is only available to Stonehill employees who have a phone number, other accounts will not have this feature when setting up a meeting.

Add someone to a call in Teams
When you're already on a call, you might want to add someone new and create a group call.
- To add someone new to a group call, select the People icon [1] in your call controls and the Participants side panel [2] will display.

- Type their name or phone number in the search box.[3] and select their name [4] from the list that appears below the search box.
- The new person will be added to your call.

Merge Calls in Teams
Merge an incoming call with an existing call
While you're on a call in Teams, you might receive a call from another person (or a group call) and decide you want to merge the new call with the call you're already on.
Click on either the Phone icon [1] to add the person to the call, audio only, or select the Video icon [2] if you are engaged in a video call.

When you accept the new call, your other call will automatically be put on hold. Then you can choose to merge the new call with your first call. by clicking on the More (...) button [3] and selecting Merge Calls [4] from the drop-down menu.
