Features
- In person community gatherings can be streamed over Teams or recorded. Recordings are stored online and a link is provided to the organizer to distribute.
- Selected events with an expected large external audience can be filmed and broadcasted by a third party for a fee via YouTube. Examples of these types of events include Commencement and political debates hosted by the Martin Institute.
- Quality video camcorders and tripods are available through our Equipment Loan service for event planners to coordinate and staff the video recording for events where recording services are not provided.
- The College's video conferencing software, Teams, can be used in conjunction with built-in pan-tilt-zoom cameras in certain spaces (e.g. the McCarthy Auditorium, Meehan 103, and most classrooms) for self-service live streaming of events and meetings.
Getting Started
- Request video recording and streaming services a minimum of 10 business days in advance of the event by clicking the Request Service Button on this page and filling out the form.
- Once a video recording request has been approved, submit signed Video Release forms to the Service Desk for any guest speaker who is not a current Stonehill student or employee.
- Review our Knowledge Base to learn how to set up a Teams webinar for larger events in rooms such as the McCarthy Auditorium, Meehan 103, and classrooms that have built-in pan-tilt-zoom cameras.
