Features
- Many classrooms have podiums that contain computers, controls, and connections for laptops in a standard arrangement to simplify transition between rooms.
- Podium computers are Windows PCs with standard software, like Microsoft 365, as well as discipline-specific software which is installed based on faculty request.
- Some classrooms contain a large interactive display. Many displays have an integrated Windows PC and a mobile podium with wireless keyboard and mouse. Others have a podium and computer connected to the interactive display.
- Most classrooms have wall or podium-mounted panels to simplify control of the technology components.
- Most classrooms contain wall or ceiling-mounted pan-tilt-zoom cameras and microphones to facilitate lecture capture or video conferencing.
- Some classrooms have computer workstations for each student and are used for teaching in a hands-on environment.
- A QR code that links to instructions is located on the wall near the podium in each classroom along with phone numbers to call for assistance.
